Dear NCAE Member Group Representatives,

The NCAE Board decided to make an important change to our planned 2009 Leadership Conference on Aviation and Space Education (LCASE).

Considering the recent global economic challenges and our rapidly changing societal needs, the board of directors of the National Coalition for Aviation Education (NCAE) has decided to change the focus and format of this year’s LCASE event. The new format will more specifically address the vision and future growth of NCAE and the aerospace education community it serves.

The formal conference with panelist presentations and keynote speakers will be replaced with a two day facilitated workshop. Representatives of all NCAE member groups and affiliates are invited to join us in discussing the challenges facing our organizations, and opportunities for solving these challenges. The workshop will be held  in the Washington, DC area at the Crystal Gateway Marriott, Arlington, Virginia, on October 15th and 16th, 2009.

On behalf of the NCAE board, thank you for your interest in this meeting. Given your demonstrated interest in and commitment to aerospace education we hope you will join us in this dialogue and event.
